Well it just depends on the woman.A lot of women will chose another man that treated her the same as the last one did just because that's all she's known so she feels as if it doesn't get any better or because she thinks she doesn't deserve any better but then again there is hope because some will realize that they can be treated better and will get with some one who is the complete opposite of the last guy like you said....

I have always wondered this too. It's not like a man starts beating a woman on the first date. They usually start off so sweet and nice, so how does it happen? Unless those type of men are just good at finding the woman who are either weaker or low self esteem, etc.

I think this is true because it is what they know. By choice, she will have to become more selective. Usually when a women is drawn to that type of person they have something inside them that needs to be fulfilled and unfortunately they always turn to the wrong place. Low self esteem is a big factor and maybe they think no-one else will care about them. They need to think better of themselves. I would always start with God and once realized how much He loves us, then we can begin to love ourselves.

I was with my very first relationship. I learned the hard way but I did learn how to decide to change my prefrence in men. Being drawn to the "bad boy" was a hard thing to get over but I did. I think it might have something to do with how we are raised as well.

It's all about the neural pathways.

Quite often the seed will have been planted in childhood.

Still it's never too late to re-arrange that brain :-)
