Don't get me wrong; I'm 34 but I find that I am attracted to younger guys, not guys that are minors but rather guys who are like 20-28 years old; My last boyfriend was four years younger than I but it didn't work out due to various issues.

I find that younger guys are more fun and cool to be around; unlike guys my own age. I have told people about this and I have been met with harsh criticisms due to my preferences.

Am I wrong to feel this way?

No, you're not wrong at all. I'm 40 and I'm dating a guy who is 29. The last boyfriend I had before that was five years younger than me.

Younger guys are more fun. They don't seem to be as bitter as guys my age or older. They still have life experience, but they seem to roll with the punches a lot better and aren't so traumatized by past relationships and stuff like that.

The guys that I've dated who are in my age range have been nothing but a hassle. Let's see....there's the guy who secretly liked other guys, there's the guy who lied about EVERYTHING (including his name and marital status), the other guy who was so traumatized by his bad marriage experience, that it was all he EVER talked about, and finally there was the guy who had such a severe case of erectile dysfunction that a popsicle stick and a roll of duct tape couldn't have helped that thing.

I guess what I'm saying in my roundabout way is that I will always prefer younger guys, and I don't think that will ever change. Go for what makes you happy!!!

I used to be one of those people that felt that women should date men their age. But I have come to realize that their is truth the old cliche` "age ain't nothing but a number." It's about who makes you happy and who you connect with. Something else you may notice is that a person's maturity level often stems from their life experience. So a 34 year old man may act like he's 20 and a 20 year old man may act 34. It's really based on what they've experienced in their lives and the positive/negative effect it has had on their emotional well being. In essence, date who you want. Your true friends will always support your decisions whether they agree with them or not.

Definitely nothing wrong with that. Men have been doing it for years. I am 24 and I personally like a woman that is about 5-10 years older. They seem to have more to talk about and play less games. They also like the stamina of a younger man!

There is nothing wrong with it as long as it is someone over the age of 20. I am older then my husband and we have been married for 5 years now - with two beautiful kids. Younger guys are fun, and I say go for it.

its not wrong to feel that way i had a guy who had a crush on me and he was ten years younger than me but i realised no matter what you do you will end up treating him like a minor cos you will not respect him as your better half and whatever he says you still dont take it serious cos of the years different ,i pulled out after four weeks and he still is a good friend and he has a girlfriend who is his age now

My husband is almost 10 years younger than I am. When I brought him to meet my family my dad asked me when I was going to bring home a teenager. It is not wrong my husband and I have had 20 loving years together and he does not mind if I still look at the young ones.

If you like certain things you shouldn't care what others think about. Other people have their preferences and you have yours. I'm not saying you shouldn't tell people about this, but maybe you should anticipate negative reactions from certain people. Maybe the fact that you like younger men makes them uncomfortable because they are traditionalists or for whatever other reasons there may be. This shouldn't matter to you as long as you are happy with your own decisions.

Some people get along better with older men, some get along with younger men. So what? People can be so judgemental when its not them you are talking about, don't you think? My sister dates guys ten years younger. I date guys 3 years older. If the guys you get along with best are younger, then so be it. Have fun. People criticize everything. They voted for Bush. What more needs said?

That's fine. 20 goes into 34 more than 38 does.
