Welllllll, considering I am the wife, I think you should get down on your knees and apologize because you made me feel like a piece of dirt. You hurt my feelings really bad and made me cry. I worked really hard on preparing our dinner after coming home from work, I will agree that it did not turn out the best, but I would have not said the same thing to you for trying to please me. I know that you were dissatisfied with dinner and I am sorry, so we will try something different and not try that recipe anymore. Besides that we have been married for almost thirteen years, and I feel like I have prepared many a good meal for you and the boys. My apologies for a not so good dinner, will try harder next time. Maybe you can help cook too. It sure would be nice. I Love You.

Ted, far be it from to tell you that "I told you so" - marrying a Texan takes a lot of guts. First and foremost you need to ensure that your wife's weapons are well hidden in case anything goes wrong while at Cassie's farm .... you know what she is like with these toys - always shoots first and asks questions later. Now then, to the problem in hand. Your wife had no right to bet you in a poker game - especially with the hand like she had. My guess is that she wanted to loose deliberately to get rid of you for the day. On the other hand, it could be that she is displeased with her sex life .... well, you know how boring and monotonous husbands can be in bed, and she is baiting you to have a sexual experience with this Cassie in the belief it might spark you up a bit for when it's her turn. On the assumption that the latter is the reason then you should go full on for this Cassie. You have all the props there to hand - the hay, the barn, the field etc so you can have a really good time. Use the experience you gain to bring home and give you wife a really good seeing to. To sum up your question:- 1) No, you shouldn't be mad at her - all Texans are a little crazy. 2) Personal services are what the day is all about - do her. 3) As for Tom Hanks then I've no idea what his character did. But if it's anything spicy be sure and let us know when you find out. Hope this helps. EDIT *looks up* Hey Lori, isn't it about time me and you got together for a bit of fun?

She'll be good for your waistline!! If she gets to be a good cook, you'll both just get fat and happy.
Seriously, though, once you soothe her ruffled feathers, the next BEST thing would be to get involved. Help her shop, and help with the meal preparation. It's a great way to kick back at the end of the day. I love it when my husband helps.
I have Parkinson's now, so I'm glad I had him "well-trained." He's not too intimidated to fix an entire meal all by himself!
I will recommend a great cookbook. There is NOT a bad recipe in the whole book! It is designed for two chefs (husband and wife), cooking together. Simple ingredients and fabulous taste and presentation!

Geez you never tell your wife something like that. If you have issues about certain things she makes you should have sat down with her and maybe told her how she could make things better. Or help her cook once in awhile. Im sure you hurt her feelings deeply,,,and comments like that make a womans self esteem go right out the window. I wouldnt be surprised if she never cooks for you ever again.lol.....you might just starve from now on..lol.....seriously apologize for hurting her feelings,,,and teach her how to cook if you think she dont know how.

1) You can take over the cooking (and the shopping and clean-up).
2) Enroll the two of you in a cooking class and have some together time while making both of you happier - you for having better meals to eat and her knowing that she's preparing things you like.
3) Grovel!

For today, bring her flowers, say you're sorry, and offer to take her out to dinner. For every other day, help her in the kitchen. The days are long gone when it's only a woman's job to cook. It takes two to eat, so it should take two to prepare the food.

Call her over to you. Give her a hug, then a tender little kiss and tell her you are sincerely sorry. Invite her out on a date and plan a nice afternoon/evening together doing something or going somewhere that is special or sentimental to you both.
Your sincerity is the key.

flowers and apologize to her, if she knows how to cook tell her so, but if she can't make a good meal then I suggest you start cooking for the next few days and tell her you are sorry, you don't want to make it seem as if she is no good just tell her you will do some of the cooking just because you where such and *** and mean it.

by saying thanks if she ever cook again for you after this,by giving her credit she may not be a good cook at least she's trying.and you probably not perfect yourself but you can always help her out in the kitchen if you have any knowledge in that department or buy a cooking book and you both try a recipe on yr day off.make it as a fun day for both of you.

Whatever she cooks this evening tell her it good. I don't care if it rabbit cooked in snail juice, still tell her it good. If that doesn't work be truefully with her and tell her maybe she could get some cooking tips from your mother or another good cook. She'll appreciate it later on.
