Ipod Problem?

My ipod can't be detected on my computer , it's not the usb cord and i doubt its the computer so i dont know please help!!!!!!!!!

TRY PUTTING IT IN ANOTHER USB PORT AND MAKE SURE THE CORDS ARE ALL THE WAY IN
