The glide is the most important aspect of this stroke. After the big kick, streamline your entire body as much as possible. Your shoulders should be almost against your ears. Glide, and then pull your head up and forward with your stroke.:-)

It can't be done over the internet. The only thing that I can offer is to get a composition book and write down everything you want to cover for each day that you have workouts.

If you can find someone, such as myself, who is knowledgable to help out for the first few weeks would be worthwhile. Go watch another team (college) workout so you can get an idea of what is expected. I taught 2 Jr College Coaches how to coach (same boat as you) the basics a while back.

uhhh... well i have no clue how to fix your dive cuzz i dont know what it looks like but i have been on a swim team for 6 years and i know that the flip turn is only used in freestyle and back stroke and dont twirl your arms around when you do it. push the water over your head when your underwater. it really speeds your time.

ok bud here it is....
breathing you don't want to lift your head out of the water if you do that you break your streamline and you will lack in the water
the flip turn...practice doing summersalts in the water...then just do a summersalt next to the wall and push off stream line...that's a huge key is stream lining...
ok the dive....try jumping feet first as far as you can off the block...then dive as far as you can off the block this will help at a race to get far ahead before you get in the water...now to get your dive looking good keep your legs together, feet pointed, and go in at a 70 degree angle and avoid a belly flop because they are nasty...if you need any more help e-mail me at: julianeseawolf@yahoo.com .....i've been swimming for 10 years and can take everybody's swimming questions...GOOD LUCK!
