Have you asked your daughter if your local school has a drama class? if they don't.....you can see if there is a local theatres group she can join, or check the boys and girl clubs....4-H now has 'acting' as part of their deal see if there's a leader in your area,if not see if it's something you would be willing to be a leader for and get more kids involved. You can always check your local churches aswell,but they are usually just seasonal. Have look in your local phone book you might be able to find a private teacher if you have the money.

You don't say, but I think it wold be better to encourage her to find a drama club versus trying to get on tv.
If there are any children's theaters near you, you should call them. They have classes that can be once a week or a camp where you go every day for a week. They look fun. My daughter is too you (2) but enjoys seeing the performances. Our parks and rec board also has an acting class.
If you don't have any sort of theaters, I would suggest looking into other activites that would help her be comfortable in a crowd. Singing lessons would be good and you can find those anywhere! (Call your high school or middle school choir department or ask your church music people) Dance classes might be fun too, stick to jazz or tap as they would be most useful in theater later.

Why don't you try Barbizon or John Robert Powers? My sister tried those places though. (I even heard that Ashton Kutcher went to Barbizon and he's famous and well-known now).

Try to get her into some local tv commericals... If you don't have any local tv stations, try for the closest city to you that does have one. You have start somewhere.
