I work in a library and contrary to what most people think, it is great fun - great for watching human behaviour. Anyway, this really ancient man, commented on how busy I was and I told him it kept me out of mischief, then he offered to keep me company the next time I misbehaved and told me it was only cigarettes and whisky that kept him going and I was the wild, wild woman element. He was 88 if a day and I though he was really game.!!

I had a nice compliment at work. I had a supervisor and co-worker tell me I was a cut above the rest. Needless to say it made my day. Everyone needs a pat on the back sometime and it happened to be my day.

My 7 year old told me "you look very pretty today" & my husband added "your mum always looks pretty".
Ment alot seeing as I was in a tracksuit scrubbing & cleaning the house all morning & sure I looked far from pretty

I am leaving work next week and my manager just returned from holiday today and she was really upset and said that I was not only her right hand but arm and legs and half her body!! I thought that it was nice to know that I am appreciated!
