Made of the need to become men, rather than big boys, and not measuring up.
Honestly, can't you guys accept the fact that real respect, rather than just the "oooohh, it's coool" of adolescence, is what will make or break you. Find a genuinely good woman, do what it takes to impress her with your prospects, and make her your life partner. There is no more important job for you when you are young, except the one that goes with it: becoming self-sufficient economically, which is a necessary part of adulthood, too. To do so honorably, respectably, is necessary if you want a genuinely good woman.
If you are religious, your religion should help you find a genuinely good woman. If not, seek what help seems to you wise, but find a really good woman (whether or not beautiful in anyone's eyes but yours; don't worry, your kids will think so, too) and persuade her to become your life partner. It will be worth all the time and energy you invest, if you have good judgment in how to win a genuinely good woman.
