Well, Cena will likely be champ again at the PPV Sunday...they are pushing him and his movie, so what better way than by having him with a belt again?
Of the others, I think Carlito is an underused talent who's destined for good things. Nitro has potential also. Lashley needs to add some appeal to his character...he's a bit bland now. Great power and skill though. Perhaps he should go heel for a while to generate some heat. Umaga is a gimmicky heel that will fizzle eventually, and his manager is just plain annoying...but they are good at creating heat right now, I'll give them that much. Maybe I just don't get it, but I just can't see what the big attraction is with Mr. Kennedy. He's a mediocre wrestler, no flashy moves, OK mike skills, but nothing really special. Orton is the biggest disapointment of all...they were pushing him big time for a while, but he evidently did something to P.O. Vince, and now his character lacks any direction whatsoever, especially since the suspension. Compare the uber-heel Randy from Evolution with the lame Randy now.
To answer your question, I'd say Carlito & Lashley are the 2 most likely to make runs at titles as "babyfaces" and Orton & Kennedy as heels. I won't count Cena as he's going to get a belt soon, and Nitro because he already has one for now.

Bobby Lashley- Maybe, still I think need some more time, but is a good fit.
Mr. Kennedy- US
Carlito- IC
Randy Orton-sure
John Cena- sure
Umaga- being pushed huge, but no until something happens with Joe
Johnny Nitro- still being slowly pushed, but has a slight chance

hopefully Mr Kennedy.........Kennedy lol cause hes exciting and funny if he stays on smackdown wouldn't mind him being the worlds heavyweight champ Orton and cena should step back a bit already lashley is boring carlito is a gd wrestler but the gimmick is a bit dodgy for champ material umaga can just plain and simply **** off and nitro could work very well as a major champion

Well Cena is going to win the title at Unforgiven. But Lashley is going to beat Finley in a number one contenders match on friday. Chances are though, he won't win the title at No Mercy and he won't win it for a while. And as a side not, Umaga and Kennedy are not young. In fact, Kennedy is considered really old for being so new to the main stream wrestling.

They are pushing Mr Kennedy a lot. He needs to touch up in the ring but he is gonna be huge in a little while. And They are gonna boost Up Orton because he is the next HHH. He needs to bulk up and he will be a bad ***.
Umaga is pretty bleh. I mean comon its Jamal from Jamal and Rosey. He sucks in the ring and he has no Mic Skills. Sorry No Dominican/samoans allowed

I personally would like to see Bobby Lashley. But with this writing team there's no rhyme or reason.
