They'll want it all the time, no matter what. It's about what YOU are comfortable with - menstrual cramps are sometimes worse when you try to have sex during your period.
If you want to try it, I recommend doing it in the shower - it helps with the cramps and the mess. It also gives you great opportunities for other, non-intercourse activities that you might like too. Just do what feels good and don't worry about it...

It has always been a mystery to me also. Tell him that it isn't a time you like to have sex. It is messy for one. You may have cramps and just not feel sexy enough to have it. Maybe if you took care of him (BJ) that might be enough. I wish men had some kind of monthly, god-awful thing that we could harass them about! Maybe, if we punch them in the gut for a week, they might understand then? LOL!

Some are nasty and do not care.So much bacteria and stuff is in there espically when that time of the month comes

Some men are ok with having sex while you have your period, they don't see anything wrong with it. If you aren't ok with it, just let them know.

some guys want it in the gegining but afterwards they regret it. they usualy hope that its not going to be as bad, because some of them bleed like crazy , yuk, and some don't, and those are ok.

Some women do it, and it doesn't hurt anything to do it. As long as you are comfortable with it, it's not a problem. My friend's man likes to remove the tampon cord with his teeth...
