First off, I'll agree that in some circles there is a lot of animosity between those two groups. Where is it coming from?
Every day we see the news media cheering it on. Look at the polarization in the cable TV news every night with certain anchors taking a decidedly right or left stance. It really gripes me when some of them even pronounce that they are being "fair and balanced" while they shove their chosen agenda in your face.
Then the other side has to counter with biased reporting (spin) of their own.
And then, radio talk shows are even worse! And you all know who I'm talking about.

but, as long as the public keep feeding this flame in the media, it's going to keep up.

Turn them Off, and let them know your turning them off.

Be an example for others, work for peace

Have faith. We have survived a Civil War, a depression, and 2 world wars. One nation, under God, indivisible... All we need is a good leader to bring us back together. There is a great moderate center in this country. They will be heard in the next election, not the extremists who want to turn us into the Sunnis and the Shiites.

It's not like there's a civil war happening out in the streets... there's a good deal of bitterness between the parties, but nothing that would threaten the country's survivability.

It's been a really long time since the country has been split like this.

It's sad and dangerous.

The USA has survived this kind of split before but I don't think it was to this extent.

Maybe after the next general election and we have a new administration things will be more balanced.

i will in basic terms communicate for myself, as maximum folk who describe themselves as liberals are loose entrepreneurs. First, the loose marketplace does not something to handle the plight of the adverse. you may look on the numbers at present, and see how disastrous the loose marketplace has been for the adverse. it really is incapable of addressing any type of environmental concerns. Capitalism, enable run wild, will devour international resources quickly adequate to create source wars. it really is undemocratic. you haven't any actual administration over your interest, what your organization does, or operating situations. this isn't the way loose human beings might want to wish to stay. My difficulty isn't with freedom and liberty, its with slavery to the wealthy. Our modern gadget suppresses freedom a great deal extra then it complements it. i'm drained of seeing human beings suffering all their lives with little to demonstrate for it, even as the wealthy walk off and tell those human beings they shoulda worked extra sturdy. An underclass that do not have a living salary isn't loose, they could under no circumstances be defined as loose. desire this helped. Take care.

It has most always been like this. Different people have different views on things, so there will always be dispute. The U.S. made it through a Civil War, and this is a much less agressive time.
