are the lyrics to a song I like. I don't know who sings it. Do you?
It is not ACE- the band from the 70's.
This song is of a more recent time, and is upbeat. It is and has been played on the radio recently still yet they never have said who sings it.
Help- I have searched on line and all I get is OLD songs!

It was recorded by Rod Stewart in 1981. That's more recent although still not new.
Paul Carrack recorded it in 1997 in Blue Views.

Edit: Any idea when Hall and Oates recorded it or on which record? I can't find any mention of them releasing it.

I believe it was ACE. I usually listen to classic rock and I am familiar with that song.

Google "how long has this been going on lyrics" and you'll get A LOT of singers, from Carly Simon to Rod Stewart ...even Diana Krall, (that must be a nice version I like Diana!)... hmmm.... I'm going to try to get that one. thanks for the indirect tip! ;-))
