you can possibly be serious. it's such a popular stereotype. and if you really wanted an answer to this question you would have done some searching on the net before posting a question like this.

however to answre your question, just in case you ARE that naive, no, goths aren't satanists, they don't do black magic or drink blood or have bad additudes, or even only wear black..
they are just people that like a certain kind of music and enjoy similar asthetic tastes.

and goth music is not that heavy metal that people think is "so goth"

look up these bands for a few examples:

bauhaus - they are the original goth band, they claimeded their music to be "gothic compared to pop nowadays" back in the 80's fans adopted the term and so it started

siouxsie and the banshees - my favorite of the old-school goth artists

the cure - while they don't claim to be goth, most of their fans would say otherwise

to go on to some more "hard core" stuff i'd reccomend

christian death- their title is ment to be a joke, now that we've cleared that much, they are actually a deathrock band but deathrock along with alot of other non-mainstream music is incorporated into the goth scene by similar interest

well if you want to know more go to wikipedea.com and search goth from there

no longer all Wiccans or Satanists placed on the Baphomet, it is not -completely- distinctive. The Baphomet symbolizes a connection to the earth. The Pentagram became utilized by utilising some early christians to signify the 5 wounds of christ, yet at present it is totally frowned upon because of the fact it is exceedingly misunderstood. i do no longer propose it incredibly in case you're in an rather religious family contributors and community, they gained't understand, they are going to misread your movements and reason you an entire boatload of rigidity and discomfort which you basically do no longer %. There are different preparation on the thank you to locate risk-free practices, any daily merchandise with sufficient concept and defend you, what concerns is which you have confidence it does.

No,... sorry dearie, thats just a stereotype.

Unless you're going to live your life by believing all the gossip people tell you, where you can't tell the difference between fact from fiction. I'm affraid that you've got a bleak future ahead of you.

Living in ignorance is a terrible way to live, when you can be so much more by doing your best to be a better human being and making the world a better place to live in.

I WAS Satanist. I'm not any more, I just had to put Satanist on the end because I don't want people to think I a freaking Adventist. Which I am not.

Gotta love stereotypes. *Rolls eyes* Some are, some aren't. Satanists are all over; they don't necessarily have to look like goths. Your next-door neighbor could be a Satanist and you wouldn't even know it! Not all of them walk around wearing upside-down crosses and writing 666 on everything.

Goth is associated with hard core rock music, and children of the cult (satan worshippers).

But that's mostly a SAD sterotype, as true GOTH is more about fashion, and appreciate for black, and punk colors, then hardcore metal and satan rituals.

I have met some cool GOTH heads.

And I think suciable blonde... just punched that answer righ tout there... lol. Go girl!

Depends on the goth. It seems that the majority of goths are neo-pagan, agnostic, or atheist, with the remaining percent of them representing about every other group, including Christianity and Satanism.

Are you sure you like gothic music? A lot of "goths" today listen to emo scene trash and nu-metal and have no idea who the Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus, Christian Death, etc. are.

Saying goths are all satanists is the same stereotype as saying Americans are all Christians. It just isn't true.

I dont know but some of them are attention seekers so i guess they try to claim being satan worshippers. The real satanists are the zionists dropping bombs on innocent civillians, who then complain when a single bomb goes off killing a few of them in comparison to thier damage...
