I'm 14......140 pounds....5'10"....

im fast....my 40 yard dash is 4.65....

i can get to the ball pretty fast...my catching abilities are not amazing but getting better....my tackling is getting better but its not yet good, i can run through tackles, i follow my blocking pretty well... i can cover people well...i can play zone very well, and i can cover wide recievers good as well.

remember i am 14....so a 4.65 40 yd. dash is pretty good.

what position should i play?

Your fast. Can get to the ball fast. Catching abilities are not amazing, but improving, tackling is getting better but not yet good, run through tackles, follow blocking pretty well, cover people well, play zone very well and can cover wide receivers.

Well, You are more offensive oriented, as your tackling and catching aren't so good for defense (LB, CB, S).

So far, my choices would be TE and/or RB on offense. Work on your catching to be a TE and a back that can receive out of the backfield.

If you have to play defense, I would suggest DE if possible (hows your pass rush, run stopping? How good can you get out of a block to make a tackle?) or LB. With your so-so talking abilities though, CB might be doable as well.

first off, you don't run a 4.65. at best maybe a 4.8.

You need to find out if you like to tackle people or run away from people better. Personally I think defense is more fun to play, less to remember and its more fun.

I compare offense to memorizing lines for a play and defense is more like doing improv.

Running Back, if you're fast and can break hard tackles then go for it!
By the way no one at my highschool runs that fast in a 40!

Continue to work on speed and your strength. Long distance running will help with your stamina. I'm thinking safety. If you can handle that position, your good to go. Good luck.
