I happen to know and/or have worked with few of em over the years. And yea, there's a plenty out there who have but there are also some that haven't. But, if I told you who they are, would you consider them to be rock star status?
So, would this prove the point? They didn't reach rock star status cause the DIDN'T sell out.
How bout the guys in the band Kansas?
They've never allowed music business mongruls to dictate their direction.
