You could possibly have a vaginal infection. I work for the NHS in a microbiology lab. We deal with testing for all sort of infections including uti's. Some uti's can be asymptomatic, this is when you have no symptoms. Normal symptoms associated with a urinary infection include : frequency and urgency these are basically going to the toilet often or having the sensation on needing to urinate but nothing coming out. There is also dysuria this is pain or a burning sensation when peeing some people compare it to peeing razor blades. You can also develop a fever when you have a uti. Normally during an infection your urine can become cloudy and develop a strong odour. Yo may alos suffer from back or abdominal pain.

I would suggest you go to your doctor and ask them to take a urine sample from you and he will send it on for testing. they can also perform a high vaginal swab on you as this can also be tested to determine if you have an infection.

You would be best to get it checked out as untreated uti can develop into kidney infection and these are very painful, and i should know as I've just had one. I frequently suffer from uti's and kidney infections myself. All you will need for treatment if it is a uti or kidney infection is a short course of antibiotic. 3days for uti's and normally 5-7 days for kidney infection. the type of antibiotic given will depend on the organism causing the infection.

Symptoms of a urinary tract infection (UTI) may include:

Pain or burning when you urinate.
An urge to urinate frequently but usually passing only small quantities of urine.
Dribbling (inability to control urine release).
Pain or a feeling of heaviness in your lower abdomen.
Reddish or pinkish urine.
Foul-smelling urine.
Cloudy urine.
Pain in your back just below the rib cage, on one side of your body (flank pain).
Fever and chills.
Nausea and vomiting.
Some people have bacteria in their urinary tract without having any symptoms. This condition is called asymptomatic bacteriuria. It requires attention in certain situations, such as during pregnancy or before surgery involving the urinary tract, but it usually can be left alone if symptoms do not develop.

Several other conditions, such as vaginal infections or irritable bladder, cause symptoms similar to those of a UTI. Your doctor may evaluate your health for one or more of these if you have urinary symptoms, depending on your medical history and how well you respond to treatment for a UTI.

I would go see your doctor if this is persisting. The only brown discharge I know of off the top of my head is "leftover" blood after a period, but that only lasts for a day or two. Symptoms of a UTI include cloudiness in the urine, a strange smell, pain when urinating, and pain in the lower part of your abdomen. If you think you might have a UTI go see your doctor. Stay away from soft drinks, and drink plenty of water.

I have had several UTIs. If you have a constant burning sensation and have to pee frequently (even though not much urine is expelled) and you are in pain, it's probable that you have a urinary tract infection. If it is, the doc will put you on an anti-biotic and possible a pill to keep you from getting a yeast infection.

The signs of a urinary tract infection are burning and or itching upon urination. Frequent urination with little output of urine. Best advice would be for you to go to a doctor.

UTI (urinary tract infection) can be very painful. The symptons are frequent and painful urination, burning when you urinate, dark or blood in the urine, strong smell to urine. I would see a doctor asap because you may have a kidney infection.

Strong smelling urine, blood in urine, sometimes lower back pain, and cloudy urine from white blood cells in the urine. See a doc. Can progress into a kidney infection, which is more serious.

it is not regular color, but don't panic yet. Probably it's because something you are taking, even excess soda (coke) turns pee dark brown. Try first drinking more water, if your pee changes color (back to regularly normal color) then, there is nothing wrong.
By the way, I had dealed with blader infections for a long time, and just drinking a fair ammount of water gets rid of the infection.
But it's always good to ask a physician.
hope it's just too much soda in your system!
