I think Vader would have the whole fight in the palm of his robotic hand, cause all darth maul can do is do dumb *** arobics and kicks like some wierd *** person, Darth Vader on the other side has survivde Obi wans deadly saber techneques and vader has the strongest force abilities and has powerful srikes, and can sence your thoughts, so its a hands down DARTH VADER

Well Darth Vader, obviously.
Vader has the highest command of the power of the force next to Yoda. He surpassed Obi Wan. As the prophecy said Anakin Skywalker would bring balance to the force and as the Jedi were already way out numbering and out-powering the Sith, it meant he was destined to chose the path of the dark side and have the power of several hundred sith like Darth Maul.
Darth Maul , though apprenticed to Darth Sidious himself and in deed powerful, never had the potential of Anakin Skywalker had.

They never met in combat ready age, but if full darth vader vs pre-death maul met, Vader would win. *choke* *crush* then using powerful slices that maul couldn't defeat.
Maul possibly could might win, but the odds are againts him.
You never said that Maul couln't bring a rocket launcher.

Yo deffinetly Darth Maul...... hes got that 2 bladed light saber and DV aka F'd up Anakin....... is slow and mostly mechine..... so i deffinetly say Darth Maul
