Yes, of course. That bit of plastic behind the front seat can be easily moved to reveal a small seat for a passenger. Of course, it is not the best bike for riding two up -- the passenger sits much higher than you. I have actually rode from San Francisco to L.A. with a passenger on my ZX-12 along hwy 1, and she did not complain to much about the small seat (more about the height); but get another bike if passenger comfort is one of your primary concerns. Also, you will find that passengers leave burnt rubber marks on the large stock muffler.

It CAN, but I don't recommend it!

We had dropped my bike off for service, and I rode home on the back. I'm only 5'3, but it was a very cramped position. I was much higher than I felt comfortable being, and there was absolutely nothing to hold onto but him. That's fine when you're moving forward, but when stopping, all my weight went onto him.

I swore I'd never get back on, and I haven't.
