that is such a silly phrase, isn't it? here's what i think. no matter how you act or what you do, you're always acting your age. it's true. think about it. they're not saying to act like an average person your age acts, but to act the the way you would act if you were the age you are (which you are). the word 'your' makes it a question specific to you in realtion to your age. it's impossible not to act your age.

This is an impossible research question because in all of history there is no documentation that ANYBODY acts their age after the age of 10!

Act in a way that is socially acceptable for your age. If you are 50, don't act like a teenager. If you're a teenager, don't act like a gradeschooler, etc.
