Well if you don't want to go out with him, I would just say well I am interested in someone else right now. Or you could say you aren't ready for a relationship at this time. Your taking alittle break from dating to find yourself.
One peice of advice though, he may have had a crush on you the whole time. I had that happen once, a guy really like me. But he just picking on me and picking on me and so I thought he hated me come to find out it was to the contrary. It's hard to tell with guys though.. I am sorry I guess I really wasn't much help..

Well, my lady... most "boys" usually give grief to those they are subconsciously attracted to and are afraid to admit it. However, depending on his age, it could be a cruel practical joke. If he calls, I would turn him down. Afterall, he obviously has done some cruel things to you in the past- I personally wouldn't be so forgiving. If he is really and truley serious about you, he will try again.

If you don't feel comfortable going out with him, don't. It will only make him think you have feelings for him too, and it can get messy from there. Just let him know you can be friends, but that you aren't looking for a relationship with him. And hopefully he's not being a jerk and asking you just to see how you react.

Tell him your not ready to forgive him and you don't want to go out with him. By the way, this sudden change in attitude is not likely to last so don't worry about being his best friend.

Lol...this is why I tell my son to be nice to the girls. My worst enemy was seriously courting me, too when I turned 15...at one point he threw a rock at me while I was riding my bicycle by his house- when we were small ....and the rock hit the light and it broke. I dated him twice and then we turned best friends. It's your decision what to do in this situation...just observe him...and don't let him touch you- he will understand why...lol. Life...c'est la vie.
