I think the whole point is to just do whatever works for you, to not look like a "trendy." I wear black cherry lipstick just for the fun of it - I have very pale skin, like, in real life, LOL.

to answre your question, just in case you ARE that naive, no, goths don't only wear black..
they are just people that like a certain kind of music and enjoy similar asthetic tastes.
and goth music is not that heavy metal that people think is "so goth"
look up these bands for a few examples:
bauhaus - they are the original goth band, they claimeded their music to be "gothic compared to pop nowadays" back in the 80's fans adopted the term and so it started
siouxsie and the banshees - my favorite of the old-school goth artists
the cure - while they don't claim to be goth, most of their fans would say otherwise
to go on to some more "hard core" stuff i'd reccomend
christian death- their title is ment to be a joke, now that we've cleared that much, they are actually a deathrock band but deathrock along with alot of other non-mainstream music is incorporated into the goth scene by similar interest
well if you want to know more go to wikipedea.com and search goth from there
but basically? goth isn;'t a fashion statment a a personal expression of the darker side of human nature, but more than that it is a KIND OF MUSIC!!!!!

Goths can dress however they like, in any style they like, and wear whatever they want. Goth is a state of mind and a lifestyle. Wear whatever looks good on you.

I don't see why not~ You can dress how you please. I don't think there are really any rules when it comes to dressing "goth" other than no bright colors. But like I said, I don't know of anyone who wrote rules to being goth. Do what you like.

Burgundy accurate is a alluring accurate. yet at the same time of darkish brown and black is a nasty theory. I fairly pick deep charchoal tights. It create stability between your accurate and your boots. sturdy success.

Don't do it at all. Goths say they are doing it to be different yet they all look alike. It's just an excuse to be pessimistic and grouchy all the time.
