I don't know what you mean by "duped".
No, not everyone's destiny is to procreate. Each person was given the tools (so to speak) to procreate, but it's up to you if you want to have children or not.

Definitely not!

What about Priests, Nuns, and other religious people.

What about women who are sterile?

What about women who simply choose not to have kids!

Clearly it is the destiny of many people to never procreate.

Society hasn't duped anyone into anything. But there is a definite question whether persons who are incapable of caring for a child should bear children. However, if there were a law forbidding someone tohave kids, you know from history that it would be abused.

some people don't want to procreate. it is there choice. and yes there are people out there who should never ever have children. these types of parents are a danger to their own offspring and all others. society hasn't duped anyone into anything. take a look around you, read the news, watch the news. some people should never have children for what the child goes through is terrible, destructive, mentally and physically incapacitating. parents do this not society.

the idea that everyones destiny is to procreate is not a societal thing it is a religious thing. and there are a lot of people who shouldn't,cause thay just don't know how to handle the child after it is born, physically,or mentally, i have a key chain that says stupid people shouldn't breed, it offends a lot of people who see it, and thay think that because i haven't breed that i think I'm stupid, but then they are so insulted by the silly thing thay don't realize I'm smart enough to know i couldn't handle it.

I wouldn't say it is everyone's destiny - maybe everyone's desire. There are those who believe that only the selected should reproduce, thus improving the species. That's not a very palatable position for those of us who don't make it into the exclusive gene pool.

the purpose of any species is to keep going, but for the individidual members of any species, procreation is not necessary for the species to keep going. even among animals without a large forebrain, that cursed thing that makes us need to have meaning in our lives, not all reproduce - some animals' role seems to be to help keep nephews and nieces alive.

Not if you are born impotent.

The destiny is simply to have gotten here to begin with. Don't you remember, when you were a sperm, how many millions of other sperms fought with you to get to your mother's ovum?
