You might as well ask which is a better Christian religion, Baptist or Episcopalian. The answer you'll get to either question is based on belief and not on facts.

I would say it really depends on what you are looking for, I will try to be biased as little as possible. On a side note I do find it rather entertaining that you would put this question under Chrysler though. Most of the cars today as long as you maintenance then consistantly will be fairly reliable although you will notice, correct me if i am wrong the american manufacturers have dropped most of their waranties to 3 yrs 36000 miles. Dodge has a wide variety of vehicles as do ford and chevy, however dodge (i am a dodge guy sorry) has many different options for performance unlike ford and chevy for the most part. All of the cars have relatively good interiors if you are willing to pay for upgraded cloth seats and wat not. I would advise you to compare between all three though on price, resale value, performance (if you are interested in that), gas mileage and the number of recalls that have been done on that particular model.
happy hunting

I'll have to be honest I'm a dodge man. But as far as better make, that is really just a preference. both ford and chevy make good vehicles. as a former mechanic I liked working on chevy's better. But really most cars as long as you arent having to work on them are good vehicles

Anything with a Pentastar, oh wait Ford is an Oval and Chevy a Bow Tie, we must be talking about different vehicles here? MOPAR...Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth, Jeep, you know anything that is better!

I would favour Chevy over Ford any day of the week. It's amazing the number of factory recalls Ford puts out there. However, since this is the category of another make, I'll take the liberty of suggesting a Honda instead. :-)

Chevy Trucks and only ford mustangs. Chrysler makes the best vans. I have been selling vehicles for 19 years and I know what I am talking about.

Definitely Chevy. Chevy has a good history of being reliable. Ford has a reputation for problems.

Ford.
Watch when you pass a Chevy on the interstate -- lots of times you'll see an orange "service engine soon" light glowing.

why is this in Chrysler?
oh well.
I am going to be completley biased and go with Chrysler. But, instead of giving the "cause-my-daddy-said-so" reasons, I will base my opinion on a couple pieces of factual evidence. I would go into more detail, but its late and I'm tired.
Chrysler was recently (lesser recently now) by Mercedes. Since then, it has been the only domestic manufacturer to increase in consumer satisfaction, reliability, and quality. Based on reports by Automotive Weekly.
Also, they offer higher performing vehicles (aside from Viper vs. GT debate which I wont get into). Check the specs. If you give the highest engine and suspension upgrades to Chrysler producs, then to any other product, Chrysler will shine through effortlessly. Thanks to hemispherical heads (HEMI), the engines can produce much more horsepower than standard engines.

Take it from someone who has owned several Chevy's. They are garbage now days. Both of my vehicles were (I now have a Toyota) GM and when it rained our wipers did not work. My husband still has problems with his. We used to be die hard GM.
Ever heard the question, what does FORD stand for? Found On The Road Dead!!! Buy a Toyota or Honda. Used!!! As soon as you drive off the dealer's lot your car has depreciated.
