Do you have any art supplies like those long rolls of white paper my mom used to call "shelf paper", colored construction paper, crayons, colored pencils, watercolor or poster paints, modelling clay?
Spread an old shower curtain or a piece of plastic over the kitchen table or on the floor and let the kids get creative. They can make collages out of magazine clippings; create papier mache out of old newspaper and a flour and water "paste" molded over an inflated balloon(for example) to be cut away later when the glue has dried; cut and color masks out of brown paper shopping bags (if these still exist!).
Try jigsaw puzzles for the ones who like to concentrate, Twister or musical chairs for the more active.
If they like movies maybe they'd like to make up their own story and then present it in a premiere especially for you. (That's evidently how directors Steven "E.T." Speilberg and Peter "Lord of the Rings" Jackson got started.) Costumes can come from a dress-up box of old clothes (or maybe selectively from your closet) and props from their toy box or around the house.
The sky's the limit once their imaginations get going!
Have fun!

do finger painting...(you can find a recipe on the net for edible homemade fingar paints)
bake cookies
make home made playdough
play board games
cook a meal together
look up funny things on the internet www.bored.com
or just let them play in the rain for awhile... and make sure they dry off quickley when they get home.

painting, sculpting playdough, board games, indoor scavenger hunts or treasure hunts(hide candies or small toys around the house like at easter, and get them to find all you hid), build a fort from furniture and blankets and have a picnic in it; these are a few ideas, hope you get some use from them...good luck!
