I've got all the expansion packs, but my walls didn't start flashing red until I installed Family Fun, now everything is normal except my walls.

It sounds like your system is getting maxed out.

To see how your system tests, reboot then go here to see if you get a lot of red for your expansion packs. The more you have, the better your machine needs to be.
In the black box, pick newer The Sims 2 versions in question and repeat the test if necessary. A machine can do great with just the base game but starts to get red marks with the expansion packs

The red is caused by video software glitches. If they didn't exist before, often you can fix them by getting updated drivers. If you run the test above, it will give a link to where you can get the drivers you need.

Hi mate!

There could be two problems:

Either you should install the newest version of directX 9.0c (try finding it into your cd)

or

Install the newest drivers for you graphic card (try downloading them from the web site)
