The clotting is a natural part of your period (explains the "cramps"),just because you don't pass any during urination doesn't mean it's bad, it means you are having a regular period with minimal clotting (less cramps).
I normally clot when standing not in the squatting position(sorry, you asked). So, as far as I can tell ya, all is well.
If you are of great concern, wait till your next period and chart it, if you are suffering great changes, get to the Dr.s, otherwise, don't sweat it, all is fine!!

Yes, sometimes when you douche before a period, or during, you can experience a clot.
Also when you use tampons... if your menstural flow returned to normal, and the clots are not a consistent thing, every day of your period, OR each time you have a period, you should be fine.
But do make a mention at your next GYN visit, or see a Doctor immediately... should these clots or any discomfort increase.

Those "blood clots" are actually the vaginal lining mixed with blood. Ideally, you shed them every month. That way you will know that your body is getting rid of the lining like it's supposed to...you will know that you aren't at danger for getting endometriosis.
I've read that Endometriosis is caused by vaginal lining not being shed like it is supposed to be. It's a painful condition, so you want to avoid it.
You should definitely use sanitary pads instead of tampons during your heavy days to encourage the lining to be shed.
LOL...hope I haven't completely grossed you out!!
