Oh yes. I saw it originally on Broadway and got kind of lost because I didn't know the story. One thing I knew was that the music was great. So when the movie came out I couldn't wait to see it. It was fabulous. They did a great job fitting the music and story in together. I literally cried when he sang 'Music of the Night'. After watching the movie and getting to know the story better, my memories of the play seem to come alive.

YES!! O MY GOSH THAT'S THE BEST EVER!
I've seen the movie and it rocked, and I really want to see the musical. IMO the singers from the original show (Michael Crawford as the Phantom, etc.) is tons better then the movie cast, though. But Gerard Butler is HOT.

I've seen Phantom 3 times in the theatre.....I have it in the movie form and while it is great ( i love the story!) there still isn't anything better than seeing it at the Majestic!

YESSS!!!! I love it so much. I watched the movie so many times and can play all the songs from heart on the piano and clarinet. I even read the book 9I didnt really like the book, too much of a bore)

Yep - love it. I learned some of the music in high school for my violin. I have always been a fan of the music- I think the movie was well done. Ran out and bought it as soon as it came out!!

Well i've never seen the piece of cr** the movie is, but the name of the movie is two fruity for me, so i guess i dont like it.
