yes, you can do them at home, it just takes a lot more time than if you'd get them done. buy one of those kits that has the liquid acrylic instead of the powder and it will be easier... i get mine at walmart

Seriously - You can try to do it with one of those home kits or you could get all the supplies from a beauty whse. HOWEVER, I know this may not be the answer you wanted but ....by the time u buy all the products and waste all your time trying to make them look good you will have spent more money and time than if you would have gone to a nail place. So my advice to you is not even go there. It really doesn't help out in the long run. I know it can get expensive getting your nails done every 2-3 wks but if you shop around you can find a reputable salon at a good price. Good Luck and God Bless.

you cannot do them at home, it takes training to use the products, they are very toxic and if not applied properly, you can get nail infections and even lose your nail completely! let a trained professional apply acrylic nails for your own safety.
