Why are 11 year olds dating going through puberty ect? that use to wait till age 16 and now all 11 year olds out there want to date!

Kids are pushed into growing up way too fast these days.

Kids are allowed to grow up too fast. In a society where both parents work it makes for a lot of unsupervised children. Legally they can stay home alone at the age of 12 so thats a lot of free time to get into trouble. Any more you can't tell the difference between a 12 year old girl and a 16 year old. I am so glad I have boys!!

this is an easy one times are way different now then they used to be. And actually not all 11 yr olds want to date some dont care. Just think how bad it will be when the children now grow up. Times change everybody just has to deal with it

Ok im 13 and i think its just that we what someone to care about us and do anything for us that isnt a friend, and i dont think dating at 11 is bad it's the kids who are having sex at 11!

They may want to date, but their parents are the ones who can control that. My daughter wont date until she's 16 years old.

Kids see it on tv shows like the OC and Laguna Beach where everyone is dateing and even though there's a whole lot of drama kids think that that is how life is supposed to be.

Because parents allow them to watch shows like Dawson's Creek, Laguna Beach, MTV and they see all these girls with guys and dressing like little tramps and they think it is cool. Then doll maufacturers come out with dolls like Bratz that look like hookers...why in the world would any self-respecting mom buy those for their daughter???!!!

kids are growing up a lot faster now. they normally arnt real dates. its like a big group normally. not much one on one time or anything. its not as serious as dating when ur older

Yeah, I know, I hate those stupid kids hitting on girls and stuff, but I don't know whats wrong, i mean b4 girls had their first p-ri-odd at 12, 13 and around that age, but my lil'cousin she had it at 10 and I had a 8, that's weird~!!!!!!!!!!

I know!! I'm twelve and i'm waiting until i'm sixteen, i haven't even gotten my first kiss or anything, but there are kids on my bus that are 9 and have frenched!
