It makes me happy when a guy is honest, and isn't just trying to get my purity. I also love, when a guy thinks about you, and doesn't mind when your hair is messy and you don't have any make-up on. He doesn't have to give me flowers all the time, but I like a guy that thinks about those things too. Plus, he should care about "how your day has been" and not just talk about himself, or video games, or his ex. ESP VIDEO GAMES!! Do NOT obsess over video games, there are those of us girls that hate video games! lol Well, that's what girls like. But remember not to change for the girl. The first thing I said was be honest.

A guy who doesn't assume that all women are interchangeable, and who thinks that taking the time to get to know her as an individual and finding out what makes her, specifically, happy (not what makes random strangers on the internet happy) is a worthwhile activity.

What makes me happy are music, comedy, boys, making people happy, watching tv or a movie at the theatre. Many girls like these things.

Love, Romance, Respect. 3 things a relationship needs.
Also a friend, someone she can rely on, someone who doesn't tell her lies, someone who contacts her every day or every 2 days, someone who hugs her, holds her hand and kisses her sweetly without having sex straight after.
obviously sex is to come but not right away. (:)
A guy who smiles at her a lot, who jokes with her, who goes places with her, who will do just about anything with her.
A guy that on valentines day will cut up and orange spread the peaces around a plate and have hearts cut into little peaces of banana or a guy that on valentines day cuts up strawberries and cuts the middle of the strawb and puts spray fresh cream in the middle yummy and romantic.
Breakfast in bed is a good idea for valentines day, with a flower of course. ;) or anytime of the year for that thought:)
