I want to buy some real Native American moccasins, not those cheap ones that are basically slippers. I want the kind that you see at powwows and such. Like these: http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h155/sbm180_photos/moccasins/im2.jpg

Does anyone know where I can buy some Native American moccasins that are not too expensive?

The moccasins you have pictured are very expensive as they take many many hours to create. Occassionally, I see an authentic pair on ebay. They usually go for in excess of $800 a pair. You might contact the people at www.littlesunlight.com and see if they can direct you to a source. They are Native Americans and I have ordered from them a number of times.

Cherokee towns in tennessee are the best place to find real moccasins, if your out west i'm sure someone of native american decent has them online, commerce is global now.

If you're in the U.S. then contact your local Native Friendship centre. Good Luck. They sell similar ones here in Northern Alberta.
