Write a true story about what it was like growing up, just chose an area in your life that affected you the most and write about it, you get your drama, your romance, your comedy and everything all rolled up into one (well comedy as long as the time that you are talking about had something funny about it) I would let it cover a year or so :) Have a good day and good luck :)

Why not write about the experience of a young writer? It's challenging for most of us to get our ideas down on paper no matter how much we want to. It would be interesting to read about the experiences of a young writer working on his/her first novel, or even a journalist in search of a first story. People love to read stories about the struggle to get one's start or to "make it" or to start a new chapter in life (I know I do). Keep it real, include vibrant, interesting characters, throw in a secret or two, add thinly-veiled real-life experiences of your own, and leave them wanting more ( meaning, no need to resolve everything by the end). Maybe a short story's in order. Good luck!

Write about being a chef, or being in a restaraunt, or being a food critic. Mmmm... You can even go out to a few restaurants and eat something you wouldn't normally and have the excuse that it's for your story!!!

You mean taste, touch, hear, see, and smell? Hmm... maybe it should be about... a trip to somewhere? Or visiting someone's house? Or maybe just about walking home and listening to the cars whistle by, and the the leaves starting to fall, and the smell of firewood burning... sorry I started daydreaming!

You could write about a travel destination. Either a place that you've actually been or one that you'd like to go to. You could get much inspiration for that!
