Gymboree. We bought hats on clearance there and they had lots of styles.
Timing is everything. If you purchase summer items in September, chances are the items are on clearance and if there's any left, it's not in the size you want.

I was at the $ store the other day and they now carrie them I guess, I asked how long they had had them and she said for 3 months. But for 1$ you can't loose

Try Babies R Us. They have a great selection, and right now they're probably having a great clearance sale for end-of-summer items.
