If you count one number per second just divide 1,000,000 by 60. That will tell you how many minutes it will take.

There are 86,400 seconds in a day, so it would be about twelve days. But when the numbers get big, and you try to speak them aloud, you will not be able to do anywhere near one per second.

i.e. 16,667 minutes, which is 277.7777etc hours
ie. 278 hours, which is around 11 1/2 days, but it takes longer than one second to say 853,926 so....
