Sure they can, they can stop creating it in the first place. It should be called the war of terror.

I'm not sure I understand the question. We are waging the war on Terror. The Bush Administration doesn't want to stop the war, mainly because they recognise that if we stop waging war on terror, the Terrorists will have no intention of reciprocating towards us. This is bigger than one unpopular president. Bush may be a lot of things, but he and the people around him are smart enough to know that backing down won't solve the problem. Besides, thats what the Terrorists are trying to accomplish with terrorism by so intimidating their opponants that they give in and give up.

Maybe you meant, can the Bush administration WIN the war on Terror. The answer is no... at least for this administration. This war will almost certainly go on for decades and many presidents before it's done. So long as Islamic extremism remains prevalant in the mideast and far east, there will always be creeps out there willing to blow people up, torture, terrorize and rape in the name of religion.

The war will be a long one, and if America is wise, we will stay the course, because if we lose it, we give a free pass to the people who hate the freedoms America allows, the rights we give women, homosexuals and religion, and the rights we have to exercise our political views and speak our minds.

Frankly, I shudder to think of the consequences if that happens. This war is not about america being a bully. It's about people who genuinely hate our freedoms and will do anything to kill and intimidate people until they're destroyed and THEY have the ultimate authority on what we can do, say and think.

The war on terror will never end, we can only hope that Iraq will remain better once we do leave and the next president has been elected. Afghanistan is more power-full than the US, they have so much money invested in the united states they kinda own us. As long as their is oil, and terrorist the US will never be able to find peace, with the middle east.

Terrorism will not or never stop b/c there will always be people that hate bush and are afraid of him and the U.S. But i do believe that we will help those people over there that were under sadam's rule. Take it one day at a time. But i dont think War on Terror will never stop no matter if it is in Iraq or not. It can be in other places and the U.S. will be there trying to stop it. But its never ending.

So long as they continue to be polite about everything, we are going to lose. I don't believe our government will ever stop the war on terror. There is always going to be people who hate us. Our military has to follow protocol. We are not allowed to fire until we are fired upon. That is not way to fight a war, especially with people who will do anything at all costs to kill us. No, as long as we are moral and have rules in war, we will never win.

At least he is trying and that is more than I can say for the previous president. Clinton was too busy worrying about his imminent impeachment that we lost our best chance to catch Osama.

There always have been and always will be terrorists. Based on our track record and an enemy with a never ending supply of money and recruits, no way.

We don't have a choice. We have fought global conflicts before, against much stronger enemies, and won.

We need to use all measures - diplomatic, economic, counterintelligence and military - to do it.

We can do it, if we have the will to.

It sure would help if more people would support a great cause instead of trashing Mr. Bush.
