Because if you drink in moderation than you should be able to drive home under the legal limit...or...where is the designated driver supposed to park...dumb question.

Because your suppose to drink responsibly! Maybe one or two beers and something in your belly to eat. You can drink and drive! just don't be drunk and do it! You know when you have had to many Plus parking lots are for the employees etc....not just for the bar drinker!!!

For designated drivers not everyone that goes to a bar drinks alcohol. For employees also.

For the cops to park when they need to come down and arrest some poor bast@rd. Also for designated drivers and for those who only drink soda.

no bar parking lots where I live (new york city) just places to park on the street and that's for anybody

that way you can at least pass out in your car in the parking lot and hopefully by the time the cops come around to check cars maybe you will be sober enough to drive home!

Obviously people DRIVE to a bar to go there. Unfortunately, they should be taking public transportation there, instead....and take a taxi home to avoid puking on the bus.

Because bars have designated decoys, to take the cops attention away long enough for everyone to get clear.

cause they need money and they can't get money if there aren't any places to park! to tell u the truth the people at the bar could care less if u get drunk and arrested!!!
