You've got to be kidding! Booker is just a self absorbent tyrant that needs others to help him keep the title belt. I can't remember many "king of the ring" winners acting this way. It was just another title won to them. If they could keep Finlay and regal and that stupid little troll "little bas****" away and not let Sharmel near the ring, Batista would have his belt back. And besides, Batista didn't lose the belt, he relinquished it. He was unable to defend it and he did the noble thing.
