So since football started I spend a lot of time on NFL.com and the nfl section here on Yahoo Q and A. I posted a question to the Gay community for fun and started reading other GLBT Q&A's.
The Stereotyping is so heavy, Someone Has to be Bi or they have to be Lez or Gay. They must fit into this redgiment, what about being one's self.
The idea that Straight guys are too afraid to admit they are attracted to guys thats B.S. in my book cause I'm straight I have no such thoughts.
Christians and their condeming tone when they have a closet full of Porn gay/straight whatever (I used to work at a hotel and when the revival came our porn rates skyrocketed) "He who is without sin cast the first stone." The judging is sicknin.
All the insecure straight people thinking Gay people get more sex than them casue thier gay, (thats so weak by the way) so they come on here and say gay people have a disease to make feel better about themselvs. Live your life and be concerned with what u do.

You know what, my friend, I couldn't agree more. I think that sexuality is a whole myriad of colours, beliefs and experiences. I think we can often make ourselves even more miserable by wearing labels, because then there is a need to conform to the stereotype of a label. Let me give you an example. I have a friend who got married, but knew he liked men, his fiance who later became his wife knew this but married him anyways. Obviously the strain proved too much and they split up and went to live with a guy. However for one reason or another that didn't work out and he is now living with a woman. Now, if you talk to him about it he doesn't regret any of those relationships or he doesn't feel the need to say 'If I got the chance to do it all again I'd do it differently.' He accepted that his sexuality is something that grows and evolves with him. He has never (to the best of my knowledge) been deceitful or slept around with any of his chosen partners, but he has always stayed true to his sexuality and believed in being honest with others and himself. Perhaps we can all learn a lesson from, my friend...

Actually, i really appreciated what you had to say. I would like to invite you to a gender education community i run online. Consider it a chance to even further broaden your knowledge of socially constructed social groups. I am inviting you because you made a statement in what you wrote "we are all the same" There is truth to that which deals with a single common ground: We are human. The things that differ are the experiences depending on how one has been socially stratefied. We live in a system that is constantly trying to create what "valid humanity means" and dehumanize those who don't fit the cultural standard. My community analyzes such concepts. If ya stop by, you might witness perspectives that you've never even considered.
Thank you for your input here. ^_^

I think it's only human nature for people to associate themselves with like minded groups. Spiritually, we all start out on the same level in this world. As we age, so should we grow in spirit. You have come across the fact that some grow into maturity faster than others. Some poor stunted souls never grow at all. It's one of those basic facts of life everyone must learn for themselves.

I appreciate the sentiment. I think the judgment of each other needs to stop we have a common thread we are all homosexuals here and need to just focus on giving advice from our particular point of view. Without offering judgment on what another poster has said. This is not a public forum to post our rants it is a place to ask questions and as such I plan to not respond to personal attacks anymore. Neither do I plan to post judgments of others advice. I hope others will do the same.
The only post I will address is one that calls me out or one of my friends out by name.

Thank you for your response. I believe no is perfect an annoyed when people judge each other in this forum. In as much; I'm happy to be here because I do see and understand the importance of advice to help others. It is shameful, when we don't get along, over definitions.

People just like to feel superior to other people. I think this is the real cause of many of the problems in our society. People have to be in a caste system where they are the top or they are lost. We are far too full of self-importance, and the reason there is so mcuh racism and sterotyping is simply that people have a supreme lack of empathy.

If any Christians are condemning people then they are wrong and I'm sorry you feel that way. Not all Christians are like that. There are some that know God does all the judging and not us and it is wrong for us to do so. Being homosexual is a sin and God does hate it like all sins. But God loves the sinner it's the sin He hates. He loves all of us and wants us to go to heaven that's why He sent Jesus down to die for our sins so that we may have everlasting life with Him.

Hey, thanks! Btw, most LGBT to try to fit ppl into those definitive categories - gay, bi, les, trans. Humanity comes in all flavors with sexuality on a great big continuum. Many good point you make. So nice to hear a regular point of view. Thanks again!
