LFG, I am all for people wearing their culture's dress. I am asking because too many people on here make a huge deal about foreigners learning English...they are not assimilating if they dont, so I wanted to know if they were also upset that foreigners dont dress like we do. You misunderstood my question and I think you owe me an apology.

These people mostly need confidence. They need to just buckle down and TALK to their crush instead of pining away silently.

Also people's idea of what is "very serious" is highly subjective, and since everyone is the star of their own life, they have an obvious bias.

Good point, but why do people ask questions about the behavior and habits of others? Just because YOU know how to handle it doesn't mean other people do. Why do people on here, including yourself ask such offensive/close minded questions?
Case in point, your question:
I hear "ASSIMILATE, learn English!" it makes many mad when foreigners...?

dont assimilate by learning the language that our majority speaks...do you also get made when people bring their traditional dress to the US? Like women from India...or Arab women in their robes...should they assimilate in that way too? Get them all some T-shirts and jeans?

Why should they give up their culture (which is why they wear that clothing) to look like a whore like most females? I can understand the language part, but leave the clothing out of that.

It's because they are so immature. To a 14 yr old I guess a boy problem is serious. {lol} Isn't being 14 great.

Because they know that we otherwise wouldn't bother, so they try to add a little gravitas to the question with an important-sounding title.

It is serious to them! I know what you mean, though. There's just too many of them.
