Your home CD player has to be compatible to play CD-RW's. Depending on how old your system is, the majority of the new players on the market today can accomodate almost any type of CD (WMA's, MP3's, etc)

Find a CD player that says it can play CD-RW's.
I have a Pioneer 301 disc CD changer that I got around February this year. It plays CD-RW's just like it was advertised.
You could use a DVD player.Just make sure it isn't too old.
All DVD players that are around three years old or newer can play CD-RW's.

CD-RW is better for data storage, so it will hold MP3 files to play on computers, but a standard audio CD player will not read it. You're better off using a CD-R disc for audio.
