I've been having pain in the lower left area of my abdomen for about two weeks now. It goes on and off throughout the day and the pain is pretty moderate, but sometimes it gets so bad that it hurts to walk, as well as urinate. Is this serious? By the way, I am a thirteen year old female.

I'm a nurse. You could have a bladder infection or it could be your appendix, I don't know enough to ask you questions. You need to be seen by a doctor right away,
before you are very ill. It's just a guess, but I would have you seen as soon as possible, especially if it has been going on for 2 weeks. In the abdomen, it could become very serious. Go to the Doctor!!

Yeah you should see a doctor. have you started your first period yet? I hope you are not sexually active! It could be multiple things A urinary infection, kidney infection, STD, appendicitis or something as simple as gas or menstrual pains (usually dont last that long) But See a doctor. He will do a urinalysis probably first (a piss test) and if they find nothing you may need to give a blood or stool sample. But honestly tell your parents and request to see your doctor soon, it could be something serious that requires medical attention. Good luck! And take notes on when and where it hurts, a doctor will need to know that along with exactly how long the pain has been going on for.

Two weeks is too long to be in pain. The only way to find out if it is serious is to go to a doctor & be checked out.

if i were you i would definitely make a appt with your doctor explain your syptoms to them and have test done, there could be a number of reasons why you could be hurting a infection or ne thing else but if your in that much pain you need to find out the cause and work on the treatment. best of luck

it NOT your appendix if it is on your left side ....the appendix is on the RIGHT SIDE....you might have a UTI...are you sexually active...if so go to see a gyno and get a Pap smear with a HPV test done...i had the same type of problem but on my right side and had to go through a pelvic ultrasound to check for Hernia, ovarian cysts and appendicitis...best thing is to go to the doc
