I drive Miss Daisy around on her errands so I'm always doing 20mph...At the most. People seem to stare and flick us off when they get stuck behind us, I don't know why.

I keep my foot on the accelerator pedal and gently tap the brake pedal with the other foot. Tapping the brake pedal causes the brake lights to come on. This makes it appear, to the tailgater, that I am stopping. The guy tailgating will usually jam on his brakes, while I continue to drive off--laughing!

I slow down. Since they don't have enough sense to allow stopping distance, you need less speed in the equation. I don't really care if they like it or not.

Usualy I just stay at the speed that i'm going and I let them just pass me or sometimes if it pisses me off enough i'll quickly switch lanes. the worst though is getting stuck behind some idiot going like 10 mph!!!!

no. slow down. but don't hit the brakes, just take your foot off the accelerator. it'll make the other person slow down or pass you.

I wait until I'm approaching a bend in the road and hit my fog lights so the jerk off behind me thinks I've hit my brakes, slams on, while I accelerate away...Smug.

I take my foot off the gas and slow down..... if they hit me, it was because they were following too closely. Then THEY get the ticket! MWA HA HA!

I slow down. If they get mad about it then maybe they will leave earlier the next time they need to be somewhere.
