I'm not sure about the worst case scenario but he shouldn't be bloomin doing it. Nothing like that at all. A baby will sleep if it's content, tired and happy enough to do so, drugging a baby with whatever it is (or anything else for that matter) is kinda abuse. If your sister doesn't know them tell her, if she does then she should get it stopped now and get the baby checked out with the Doctor. You as an Auntie have a right to look after this baby too....stick up for the baby pleaaaaaaaaase.

Tell your sister this is quiet dangerous yes if he gives her to much he could over dose her but he could be doing more damage in side it may take a long time for this damage to been noticed or picked. I am talking about liver damage and things like that. this is a pain relieving medication and this is the wrong thing to do making her sleep just so he can have some peace and quit

This is child abuse. Call Child Protective Services or the police NOW. If you know about it then so does your sister and she hasn't done anything yet. If you don't want to be going to a funeral, MAKE THE CALL! What if he decides (and he will) the tylenol isn't doing the trick and he devises something worse. You can do this, be strong for that little girl. She's depending on you to save her life.

What is wrong with him!?!?! Gently tell your sister to make sure this isn't a habit that she practices as well (sorry, not to imply, I just don't know her).
If this practice doesn't stop, child protective services could be notified. If he agrees to stop (and you believe him) suggest some parenting courses - it could help him to cope with the baby and give some suggestions for occupying his time with baby and coping mechanisms for when the baby is crying or fussy.
Good luck sweetie, that baby is lucky to have a caring auntie like you!

Tylenol overdose can cause severe liver damage and/or death. It is not ok to drug a child just to keep them quite. You need to tell her if she doesn't find someone else to watch the baby, you will call child protective services. If you can, why don't you offer to do it or help her find a licensd daycare.

It could put a strain on her kidneys and liver. VERY bad idea. I would talk to your sister about talking to her boyfriend. If they refuse to stop, I would call child protective services.

First of all you should tell your sister and if she does nothing about it then you should call DYFS. What will possibly happen is she will become immune to it and when she really needs it,it probably won't help her.But before anything happens just tell your sister.

you need to make sure your sister knows, and if she does not do anything you need to call dcfs. That is child abuse and it does need to stop. Medicine is to help a child get better. Not to be used as a doping drug.
this is a Utah site. But I am sure they can redirect you

By giving an infant tylonol every night the way he does, he is hurting here physically and mentally. this drug is addictive to adults as it is, but at an infants age, she is already getting hooked on it. by starting this, he has made her addicted to tylonel and by taking it away from her, she could go cold turkey if it is that serious.
