You can try to flush it out!1 Drink PLENTY of fluids. Lemon Barley water is very good,as well as Cranberry Juice. Better still,if you can stand it. Boil up some barley, place some of the water/juice in a mug, flavour it with lemon, and drink! Its an old fashioned remedy, but very good! Drink plenty of this. A note of caution.Untreated, the infection can continue spreading up the urinary tract, causing infection in the kidneys, called pyelonephritis.

People say cranberry juice but that doesn't work for me. If it's the beginning stage of the infection try drinking a TON of water to flush it out. If it goes on a few days you should really see a doctor you don't want to get a kidney infection.

high strenth cranberry tablets, keep yourself warm, especially around your lower back, keep your feet warm, drink lots of water, preferably hot herbal teas. stay away from dairy products expecially cheese. also stay away from caffeine, sugar and alcohol. Uva ursi is a good herb, you can drink it as a tea. rest.
If there's any blood in your urine, i would advise you to take antibiotics as the infection would be in its advanced stages and you don't wanna risk it going to your kidneys.
take care x

u will have to go to the doctor to get a antibiotic, the ones that you get over the counter like the azo and things only relieve your symptoms temporaily not hiding or getting rid of the infection that can lie there and make you more uncomfortable then what you may be experiencing already, in the meantime drink plenty of water and cran juice.

I have used probiotics(good bacteria) in capsule form that you can get in the refrigerated section of a health food store. Also drinking aloe juice helps me too.
