Wear square shoes!
To be serious:-
You cannot turn feet into square feet (like you can for feet into metres) as one is a measure of length and the other is a measure of area. When you have 2 dimensions (using the same units) you can define the area. In your example the area is 210.25 square feet.

Length multiplied by width equals square feet
14.5ft L x 14.5ft W = 210.25 ft squared
Example with different #s: my bedroom is 15 ft long & 11 ft wide so it would be 165 square feet.

If it is a 4-sided rectangular shaped room, multiply both of those numbers.
The area of any square or rectangle is the product of the length multiplied by the width.

Feet is the measurement of length.
Square feet is the measurement of area.
If the length and width of the room are 14.5ft and 14.5ft each, then the area becomes 14.5ft x 14.5ft = 210.25 square ft.

if you were to draw the size room on squared paper then it would be easier for you to see how that would work
however without that piece of paper we would have to multiply the length(ft) by the width(ft) to give the total area(squared feet)
