C-section is not soooooooooo much easier. It is major abdominal surgery which has a very painful recovery time during which you will have a newborn to care for also. There are plenty of options for pain management during a vaginal delivery to make you as comfortable as possible and no one should ever choose to have a c-section because they think it is easier.
You are talking about having your abdomen cut into, your stomach muscles cut through, and your uterus cut open to remove the baby. After that, each layer has to be sewn back up...which means your uterus now has a scar on it which can increase your risks for placenta previa and placenta accretta in future pregnancies, your stomach muscles have to sewn back together and your skin is very often stapled back together. Most likely any future pregnancies will need to be delivered that way also.
So how anyone can think that is better than giving birth the way God intended is beyond me.........by the way.....I had a C-section with twins and if given the choice I would pick a vaginal delivery over that experience any day of the week. You "give birth" in an operating room strapped to a table....your baby is shown to you for a few minutes and then taken to the nursery while you lay there for another hour being sewn back together. Then you are taken to recovery like all people who have surgery where you will be monitored to make sure you aren't hemorraging and that all of your other vitals are ok...finally after at least an hour in there you will be taken to your room where you will probably sleep from the pain medication. All the while you are missing out on the first few hours of your child's life, where as with a vaginal birth the baby is usually given directly to you as long as it is healthy.

Some doctors will perform a cesarean simply because the mother requests it. They are few and far between because the healing time is greater with a c-section than a vaginal birth. However; without a sound medical reason for a cesarean, your insurance will not cover it and it's far more expensive.
Oh, and the scar is much worse.

You can probably find a dr that'll do it for you. But, beware that you'll be paying huge medical bills if your insurance doesn't cover "elective c-sections" as most don't.
Don't do it though. You'll regret it. The recovery is much longer than a vaginal birth, and it can have effects on later deliveries. I felt like I was robbed of a lot of the childbirth experience because I had a c-section (not elective though).

They call it being "to posh to push" ever since Posh (the Spice Girl )did it. You would have to discuss this with your doctor. They would not recommend it though. Pushing is not as bad as you think. It hurt a lot for while so take the drugs if your scared. Your recovery is so quick and you dont leave with a gut full of stitches and a scar. A Cesarean is not as easy as you might think. Women have been given birth since God created them. You will get through it. We all do.

You can have a natural birth! Take a lamaze class, do your kegels and be strong. I have nothing but pity for women who chicken out and miss the greatest, most empowering moment of their life: pushing their child into the world, rather than laying back and letting a surgeon cut them out for no reason other than laziness.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Easier how? Having a incision through you skin, fat, muscle and uterus? Having to have someone do everything for you for 2-3 weeks, including carry your baby and drive your car?
C-section is MAJOR SURGERY, not just a "convenience" Plus it increases the risk of fetal death, SIDS and respiratory problems in you child!

Yes you can...its now optional, however, your insurance may not pay for it unless its deemed necessary.
