i have just kind of started a small escort business with my friend and although we do not have any client as of yet,i want to find out if i need to do anything else.i don't want to have an illegal business.what do i need to do? as per law wise.

If you mean what I interpret as Escort, then I wouldn't know, but you could try getting some qualifications and trying a real job...

So, you're a "madam"!? Beware the vice squad. Soliciting and pimping...... Be very, very careful. Insurance for your escorts, safety issues, self-employed or employed, COSHH assessments, all sorts. VAT registration, companies house, tax issues, business premises, accountants, registered office etc. etc.
Sounds like your doomed to failure on the grounds that you haven't got a clue.

You need to apply to the council where you live, I presume you are going to run the business from your home address. Any advertising, which if you don't advertise nobody will know about your business,in local papers ect, will need to see a notice from the council that they are aware of the business and you are not doing it for immoral or illegal purposes.

If your business is the legitimate escort service you must contact your local city government offices for a business permit.
if you are refering to the "other" kind of escort.. you just need to not do it.
