well i have elearned from experience it is best to do it somewhere with bright light and with a mirror. when you take the wand out, make sure you get any excess liner off. then lightly blow on it to dry it a little. using the very tip and starting from the innermost portion of your eye, drag the eyeliner across your lash line. carry it on until you reach the outer portion of your eye. LET IT DRY. close your eye and dont open it for a minute. then repeat with your lower las line. make sure you dont connect your lower lash line with your upper, it makes your eyes look smaller!

good luck

I used a very sharp maybelline Expert Eyes that you have to light with a bic to use. Then after I got it exactly purrrfect on my eye, I'd use a liquid and go in the crease between the lashes and the lid, to give it an extra deep look. I used to wear mine like this around 18 years ago. I love that the old styles of the 80s are coming back!

i perfer a pen like one as opposed to a brush, this gives you alot more control. try cover girl, they have an excellent ever last on. first, wipe off excess liquid on the edge of the container then either from the outside in or the inside out draw a smooth line that follows your eye as close to your eye lashes. you can do alittle flip up at the end or not, either way.

I personally would suggest you not to use it specially if your plannig to have it on for long hours because it gets flakie after awhile. But if you really want to. as close as possible to your eye lash line.

Ugh, please dont use that crap. It's so 1995. If you use a pencil it will look more natural ... if you use liquid, youre gonna look like a China Doll. But if you must ... then you have to have a steady hand and just roll it over your lid really close to you eye lashes.
