What should be my next step????
Just so you all know, one of the answerer's was dead on on the problem...and a couple were closer than I would have thought!
So throw some more totally anonymous, random advice at me! What do I do NOW???

well, i would go ahead and tell your friend you borrowed her dress. You don't want her to get mad for lying to her. Then i would just discretely drop it off at the cleaners on the other side of town. They will be able to get the stain out for you.
Next time ask to borrow someone elses clothes to wear on a date!

Go to the humane society and get a puppy, they need homes far more than those expensive pet store dogs.
