In St. Louis, there is a place in Forest Park with a tree that is shaped like a hand and not far off the ground.
I used to love to go there and sit in the tree and picnic, read, comtemplate...and for some odd reason I would be at peace cradled in this palm-like tree
I miss that place and now live 1500+ miles away

You know I have NEVER picnicked! huh? I should sounds nice.
I suppose the closest thing to that is, once me & my ex went to a big quiet park, with a big blanket sat underneath a shady tree with magazines for each of us and layed there and read, to each other to our selves. That was an absoulte heavenly day, we were out there together talking and reading and just lying there at times, up untill evening came!

I love to picnic.
Some of my fondest memories include a picnic, but in the house with a blanket and food.
